PAPEROUTE™ Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2024

Paperoute contracts with service providers in the construction/renovation industry (“Customers”) that wish to evaluate the general creditworthiness of individual consumers (“Consumers”) who are seeking services from the industry service providers. Paperoute facilitates the aggregation and analysis of credit-related data provided by Consumers and generated by third-parties in connection with a paid subscription service that necessarily involves the collection and use of personal information and data of Consumers (collectively “the Services”). The Services assist Consumers in locating financing for construction projects by providing information to subscribing Customers who are evaluating potential construction jobs.

By signing up for the Services (Customer) and completing and submitting a PR Consumer Survey, Customer-provided form, or recorded consent (Consumer), both Customer and Consumer (collectively “Users” or “You”) have accepted these terms of the Paperoute Privacy Policy and have consented to being contacted for the purpose of gathering certain information relevant to assessing Consumer creditworthiness, as set forth herein, in the EULA and in the Terms and Conditions.

Paperoute (Referred to as “Paperoute”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the sole owner of (i) the domain name www.Paperoute.ai, (ii) its associated website(s) (Referred to as “Website(s)”), (iii) its associated software-as-a-service services (“SAAS”), (iv) the Paperoute application (“Paperoute App”), and (v) and any of its corporate business entities or affiliates.

Paperoute has established this policy because privacy is important to us and so is being transparent about the information/data that it collects and processes. This policy covers the information/data that is collected by Paperoute, used by Paperoute, and shared with trusted third-parties in order to provide the Services.

We consider protecting Personal Information (Defined Below) to be of paramount importance. We carry out processing of Personal Information in accordance with the consent provided in the PR Consumer Survey form and in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws (together “Applicable Law”), as amended, replaced or superseded.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

1. What is Personal Information?

o With regards to this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information”, for the purpose of better understanding, shall include but not be limited to:

 “Personal Data” i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; wherein an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

 Information from either Paperoute or any third party vendor or service provider;

 Any data/ information uploaded, posted, exhibited, displayed, linked, saved, shared, communicated, updated, downloaded or transmitted by You through the Services, including search queries and commands;

 Information about Consumer location using methods that include Global Positioning System (GPS), wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points, and other sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers and compasses.

o Paperoute enables Consumers and Customers to have control over Personal Information. It also provides control mechanisms that allow access, correction and deletion of inaccuracies in Personal Information. This Privacy Policy details the Personal Information that Paperoute collects through the Services.

2. Collection of Information

o Information we collect.

 We may ask for:

 Contact information (such as name, address, phone number, and email address);

 Sensitive information (such as date of birth, driver's license number and social security number);

 Personal information to verify identity and financial information (such as credit card number).

 Under most circumstances and unless Paperoute is required by law, the types of sensitive data listed below are not collected and/or processed by Paperoute:

 Race or ethnic origin;

 Political opinions;

 Religious or philosophical beliefs;

 Trade union/ any association memberships;

 Genetic or biometric data;

 Health or mortality; and

 Sexual preferences or orientation;

o Information we collect from third-parties.

 We must communicate with third parties in order to provide the Services. Information that we may collect from third-parties includes verification of identity from identification verification companies, “soft” credit data from consumer reporting agencies, information related to payment obligations from payment validation companies, enforcement activities from law enforcement agencies, and others.

o Information we collect automatically through use of the Services

 We may collect certain information when Users browse our Websites or click on links and visit other sites, such as the time spent on each page, browser type, operating system or any referral URLs, etc. which information is automatically collected as required for functioning of Paperoute. Paperoute and our trusted third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, use cookies and other tracking mechanisms (i.e. web beacons) to provide functionality and recognize visitors across our Websites and other services. This information may also be used to identify Users for tracking and measuring usage of any of our Services, demographics, traffic patterns and to further determine audience size. This information may also be used to create, develop, operate, deliver, improve, manage and customize Paperoute, its contents, layouts and features, so as to help facilitate Paperoute in providing the Services.

 In addition to the cookies Paperoute sets when Users visit its pages, third parties can also set cookies when Users visit and/or access Paperoute. For example:

 Corporate entities and/or affiliates of Paperoute [such as respective service agents, web hosting providers, mail and E-mail service providers, communication services and web analytic providers that facilitate Paperoute in providing certain functions and/or providing the Services] may place cookies when Users visit Paperoute, including but not limited to the Trusted Third Party Entities mentioned herein below;

 Companies that deliver content on the Services may also place cookies on their own. These corporate entities use the data they process in accordance with their privacy policies, which may enable these companies to collect and combine information about Users’ activities across websites, apps or online services.

 We may use third-party analytics services to help understand usage of our Services. In particular, we provide a limited amount of information (such as sign-up date and some Personal Information like Your email address) to third-parties for analytics purposes when You visit our Website or use our Services so that we can improve our Services

3. Sharing and disclosure to Third Parties: We share information with our subscribing Customers and, in some cases, with prospective subscribers. The protections of this Privacy Policy also apply to the information we share in these circumstances.

o Paperoute Companies: We share information we collect with other Paperoute corporate entities or affiliates in order to operate and improve our Services and to offer other Paperoute affiliated services to Users and to others.

o Business Transfers: We may share or transfer information we collect under this Privacy Policy in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. We will notify Users via email and/or a prominent notice on our Websites or on the user interface/ dashboard of the Services if such a transaction takes place.

o With Consent: Consumers have expressly consented to sharing information with those subscribing Customers who use the Services.

4. Communications:

o You have consented to contact by Paperoute using certain communication methods. We may occasionally use Personal Information to send You emails about Service updates, changes in Privacy Policy, updates in Terms of Service or marketing email or to offer customer support.

o You shall be entitled to unsubscribe or opt-out from some of these emails from Your account’s notification settings or by contacting our Support team at [email protected].

o The following email communication types can be opted-out:

 All types of Marketing emails; and

 Updates in Services or emails pertaining to new releases.

o The following are transactional emails that are necessary in order to provide effective Services:

 Updates in Privacy Policy. (You need to know about the changes and may be required to give consent if such changes are made in future that impacts Your ability to use the Services)

 Updates in Terms of Service. (Changes in Terms of Service may impact usage of the Services)

 Payment complete or failure notification. (You have the right to receive the invoice or confirmation of Your payment. In case of failure of payment, our Support team may get in touch with You)

 Notification of a data breach. (We are required by Applicable Law to inform You, in case an event of data breach happens in future)

5. Your Data & Rights

o You have certain choices available to You when it comes to User information that is stored with us. Below is a summary of those choices, how to exercise them and any limitations.

o You have the right to request a copy of Your information in electronic format or object to our use of Your information (including for marketing purposes) or request removal of Your account and all associated data. Below we describe the processes and tools which You can use to do so, where Your account is managed by Your employer or an administrator, You may need to contact Your administrator to assist You in Your request.

o Should You request to receive a copy of Your information, we will provide You an electronic file that contains Your basic account information.

o Your choices or requests may be limited in certain cases, for example, deletion of Your information which we or Your administrator or Your employer are permitted by Applicable Law to keep or have compelling legitimate interest to keep; or when Your data is shared with third-parties, then You will be required to contact those third-party service providers to delete or restrict Your information.

o Paperoute enables Customers to access and modify certain information about You, which Customers may be able to access or modify by logging into the dashboard and your user profile.

o You may opt-out from receiving promotional email communications from us by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link from the emails received from us.

o You can request for removal of Your account and associated data (excluding the information which we are required and/or permitted by Applicable Law to retain), Customers can login to their Paperoute dashboard and request deletion of Your account from Your profile settings. The invoices or previous payment information will not be removed, as we need to retain such information for accounting purpose.

o In some circumstances, You have the right to request for erasure of Your information without undue delay after providing notice of such request to Paperoute, i.e.

 when Your Personal Information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;

 when You intend to withdraw Your consent to consent-based processing;

 when You object to processing of Your Personal Information under certain provisions of Applicable Law;

 when the processing of Your Personal Information is for direct marketing purposes; and

 when Your Personal Information has been unlawfully processed.

o Data Portability is the ability to obtain some of Your information in a format that You can move from one service provider to another. In the industry where we operate, there is no particular standard for data-portability yet, hence this applies to some of Your information, but not to all of Your information.

o There may be certain exceptions to Your rights as contemplated herein, including but not limited to where processing of Personal Information is necessary for compliance with any legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

o Furthermore, Paperoute wishes to keep its You advised that Paperoute may acquire such deleted/ erased/ removed data from various legitimate sources and such contact details may be purchased and added back into its database which may, therefore, mean that You could be contacted in a future marketing campaign.

6. Policy towards minors

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services (as that term is defined in our Terms of Use). No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to us or on the Services. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If You become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact Paperoute support at [email protected].

7. Consent

When we process Your information based on consent stated by a Customer or by completing the PR Consumer Survey, You may not withdraw Your consent retroactively once Your information is processed. You may withhold future consent to conduct additional future processing of Your information by providing express written instructions. By completing a Paperoute-powered Consumer Survey, You are giving written instructions to order a copy of Your credit report or credit attributes to be used in conjunction with the Paperoute application.

8. Transfers

If we share Your Personal Information with third parties as contemplated herein, we endeavor to ensure that such third parties provide an adequate level of protection and in accordance with the requirements of Applicable Law.

9. Enforcement

o Paperoute regularly reviews its compliance with this Privacy Policy.

o When formal written complaints are received by Paperoute, it is the policy of Paperoute to assist regarding his/her/their concerns. Paperoute will co-operate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Paperoute and an individual.

10. Revisions of this Privacy Policy

o We may revise or change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any such changes on our Website(s) or by sending You an email. We encourage You to review our Privacy Policy whenever You use our Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways You can help protect Your privacy.

o If You do not agree with any changes to this Privacy Policy, You should stop using the Services and deactivate Your account(s), as outlined above.
